Skin Cancer Checks

Skin cancer checks

DermaDocs was formed as a result of the realisation that more and more patients were turning to their general practitioners to provide skin checks and investigate suspicious lesions. At the moment, most skin cancers in Australia are detected by GPs, where patients are then referred on to a dermatologist. However, there is often a lengthy process involved.

At DermaDocs we have made it as easy and as quick as possible to have a skin check as time is often critical. A referral is not required to make an appointment with us, and we have ample appointments to ensure you are seen promptly.

Our doctors have undergone additional training in the early detection and removal of skin cancers. We are able to do procedures and biopsies on-site in our own treatment room. Our state-of-the-art technology allows us to keep photographic records of your skin and to project this on the LCD TV screens that are in each room so that you can participate in collaborative decision-making with your doctor.
